Last month, the Houston Modern Quilt Guild had a Modern Traditional challenge. Members were asked to design and make a quilt based on a traditional quilt blocks but with a modern twist. This is my design. I wanted to make one large quarter log cabin block with rounded edges. I was playing around with color and placment and ended up with design. I am new to curved piecing but I am loving it very much.
