The winner of this bundle of Quiet shades is Michelle T. Michelle, please check your email for a message from me. I want to thank everyone that visited my blog and left a comment. I love hearing from you. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, and the so many wonderful suggestions on mountain towns to visit! Mountain towns in North Carolina were a definite winner – that may be because there are more quilters in NC? 🙂

I have a finish but I can’t show you yet. This is for my very first magazine publication. All I can say is it uses fabrics from the Island Batik Kaleidoscope collection and I can show you the back. I finished it ahead of schedule and brought it along with me on a weekend trip to Cape Cod for a photo shoot!

This is on my design wall. It is for a charity quilt using the Bell Wave quilt pattern by Faith Jones of Fresh Lemons Quilts. My quilt guild chose this pattern for charity quilts this year. Some blocks are made by other members of the guild. I made some from fabric donated to the guild and some from my stash. I need to piece and quilt it this month.

On my cutting board is this top for a pillow, and fabric to make one more. The fabric is Brushstrokes by Paintbrush Studios. PBS fabrics sent a few FQs of Brushstrokes and Paintbrush solid in Ebony to make this project. I hope to finish the pillows along with a pattern/tutorial this week.

Hi Vasudha! How many quilts does your guild make for charity? Just curious – this looks like a fun pattern and a good one for using up stash fabrics. Those fabrics for the pillow are gorgeous. They are really striking on the black solid background. ~smile~ Roseanne
