Nested Cabins Pattern Release

Nested Cabins is my newest pattern release. It is available in my Etsy shop. The quilt sample shown uses the Vintage Lace fabric collection designed by Kathy Engle for Island Batik.
The quilt uses one jelly roll (forty 2.5″ strips) and a little over 2.5 yards of background fabric. With large blocks and strip piecing, it goes together very quickly. The on-point setting gives it a dramatic look.

Some of my friends from the Houston Modern Quilt Guild volunteered to test my pattern. They used a variaty of fabric and interpreted the pattern in their own way. See all the lovely versions below.

Rachel A used her treasured Anna Maria Horner jelly roll to make this spectacular quilt!
Stephanie needed a twin quilt. She added a border in a coordinating fabric to make a larger quilt.
Tricia used a jelly roll of neutral solids and low-volume prints from her stash to make her sample.
Liz paired her precious ice-dyed blue and white fabric with a lime green solid to cut her own jelly roll.

This is just spectacular Vasudha! The design, and the fact that you’ve put together another really unique pattern just makes me so happy. I can see it selling very well. I love how you quilted it too!
